Frequently Asked Questions (re: sale day):




I was waiting to buy a sample box on sale day, but the Buy Now button did not show up on your website. Where is the Buy Now button?

The Buy Now button appears on the Buy The Box page at 8:00am (ET) on sale day. We encourage all of our customers to familiarize themselves with the website and the Buy The Box page, in particular, prior to each sale day. We urge our customers to continually "refresh" (press F5) the Buy The Box page at 8:00am (ET) to ensure that the button shows and they get the most recent page updates.



I was on your website at 8:00am (ET) and clicked on the Buy Now button but the boxes were already sold out. How could that be? Did all of the boxes truly sell out within just seconds or minutes?

As it clearly states on our website, Facebook page, blog, and in our newsletter, there are many boxes available and they always sell out very quickly - usually within minutes. This is to be expected and is beyond our control, as there are hundreds of consumers on the website at the very same time vying for the boxes and scrambling to snag a box as soon as the Buy Now button appears on the Buy The Box page at 8:00am (ET). It all depends on how often you "refresh" the page, how fast you can hit the Buy Now button, and it may also depend on your internet speed. We are always reminding customers to be on the website bright and early to snag a box. We also encourage customers to familiarize themselves with the website and the Buy The Box page, in particular, prior to each sale day. It is also very important that they keep their Paypal account information (address, name, etc.) up-to-date and validated in advance.

The demand for these boxes has increased drastically in the past few years and our event days are always hugely popular and very exciting, as Divas from all over North America swarm in to snag a box. It is no wonder why boxes sell out so fast and are gone within just minutes.



I have purchased other sample boxes but have never seen such a fast sell-out. Why do your boxes sell out so fast?

Unlike most other sample boxes, we are only available on a seasonal basis (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Holiday). We offer the boxes on a first-come, first-serve basis only and when they are gone, they are gone. That is why our sale day is called an "event". Our exciting, long-awaited, sell-out events are always highly-anticipated and there are thousands of consumers on our mailing list, eagerly waiting for sale day to arrive so they can swarm in and snag a box. With so many customers on the website at the very same moment vying to get their hands on one of these popular boxes, it is no wonder why they do sell out so quickly during each event. Part of the lure is that we are different than other sample boxes. We offer such a great variety of bath, beauty, and style products (full-size, generous-size, and sample-size) and so many of them (10-15 or more) all together inside each and every box. Additionally, the value of the contents inside each box usually far exceeds the amount paid for the sample box itself, making it such an appealing and must-have purchase for consumers.



Since there is such a great demand for the boxes, could you make more of them available for purchase?

We offer a large quantity of sample boxes during each event and we continually strive to make more boxes available to meet the demand. During each event, there are more boxes up for grabs, however the popularity and demand for our fabulous boxes continues to increase. Within the past few years, we have seen a surge in the amount of people signing up to receive our newsletters, therefore we have been experiencing record-breaking sell-outs. There are thousands of consumers vying for the boxes and we would love to provide enough boxes for each of these eager consumers, however, that is not possible. Our contributors send in limited amounts of their products/merchandise, therefore we are only able to send out as many boxes as we are able to fill. You see, most of our contributors are small to medium size businesses and are not always able to provide excessive or unlimited quantities of their products.



Would it be possible to put the sample boxes on sale later in the day, so customers on the West Coast won't have to wake up so early to buy one?

At this time, the 8:00am (ET) is what works best for Sweet Delight Divalicious Sample Boxes and for the great majority of our customers. Our office is located in Atlantic Canada and that means that boxes go on sale at 9:00am (our time), which provides just enough hours during our work day to prepare orders for shipping out and to keep everything running smoothly and according to schedule. The 8:00am (ET) provides the time for customers, from the east coast and west coast and everywhere in between, to purchase a box before heading off to their place of work or to college. There are many customers from various time zones who set their clocks for this event - some join us as early as 5:00am. We do realize that this is an inconvenience for some, however boxes never fail to sell out fast and a lot of our boxes are sold to customers on the west coast. The key is to set your clock and be there early for these seasonal events if you wish to purchase a Sweet Delight Divalicious Sample Box.



Do the boxes sell out quickly because customers are buying multiples?

It is rare that any of our customers purchase multiple boxes, as we do limit each buyer to one purchase when they hit the Buy Now button. The only way that they are able to purchase another box is if they have enough time to return to the website and hit Buy Now again before boxes are sold out or if they are using more than one electronic device (i.e. PC, iPhone, etc) at the same time.



I see that the boxes are sold out. Can I still get a box?

Sorry. The boxes are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis and when they are gone, they are gone.



Why don't you offer the boxes for pre-sale, so more people can have a chance to buy a box?

Part of the lure of our Sweet Delight Divalicious Sample Box Events is that they are truly exciting events. To be completely fair to each and every potential consumer, we will continue to offer all of the boxes on an equally-footed, first-come/first-serve basis on the event date. If we were to pre-offer the boxes on a date prior to the announced sale date, we would most likely have the same amount of consumers scrambling on the website at the very same time vying for the pre-sales option and a huge number of disappointed fans on the actual event date.



Why don't you offer your boxes by subscription so we won't have to wake up so early to purchase one?

At this time, the seasonal "Buy Now" events are what work best for Sweet Delight Divalicious Sample Boxes and for the great majority of our customers (since 2008). That is one of the reasons why there is such a huge amount of excitement surrounding our highly popular seasonal events and why there are always thousands of consumers ready and waiting to get their hands on these boxes. It is impossible for us to know how many boxes will be available several months prior to each scheduled event, as an exact number cannot be determined until all contributors have sent their products for inclusion in the boxes. Our contributors send varying amounts of products and the amount of boxes that we have available tends to differ from one event to the next. Therefore, a subscription service would not be possible. Also, it would only allow certain people the opportunity to continually receive the box while others would never have the chance to purchase even one. Right now, a variety of consumers (both new and longtime buyers) can purchase the boxes while supplies last. You see, when our wonderful contributors (mostly smaller business owners) send in their fabulous products, they are truly intending for their items to be sent out to hundreds of different people (particularly if they are a repeat contributor) - to give many consumers the opportunity to experience what they have to offer. We prefer to keep our events fun, fresh and exciting for both consumers and contributors alike and therefore we do not offer a subscription service.



Would you consider offering payment options through means other than PayPal?

PayPal is a leading payment service option that most North American online businesses use. We will continue to use PayPal and have no future plans to expand to other options. Payment options are not limited to PayPal accounts only as PayPal offers resources available to those who have credit card and debit cards, but do not wish to open a PayPal account to make a purchase.



Are there a certain amount of boxes designated specifically for Canada and for the USA?

All boxes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to all customers throughout Canada and mainland USA. There is no specific amount designated for either country.
